While we are all staying at home, here’s something for all the family to get involved in!
We would love young artists to help us by Colouring in Kingston. This project is designed to spark a conversation amongst the community, celebrating young creative talent.
How to get involved
Download our creative package full of different objects to draw, and we will be transforming these drawings digitally, giving you the opportunity to have your work displayed in your community.
However due to our current situation we are hosting an online gallery through our Instagram page @colouringinkingston showcasing the submissions produced and digital transformations!
Draw your favourite objects
Email your drawings to the address in the pack or submit them via Instagram

About the Project
Colouring in Kingston is a community based project created and managed by Josephine Miller and Izzi Toovey who are collaborating with The Community Brain as part of SHEDx Growing Ideas in Tolworth. Both students are studying Art Direction BA at Kingston School of Art where the project launched.
The students collaborated with young artists in the Kingston borough providing a series of drawing challenges. The students digitally transformed these drawings with the aim to display the collaborative artwork into the community in the future.
Due to COVID 19, they have adapted the project to encourage people to stay at home and be creative. These submissions will be showcased on an online gallery on Instagram @colouringinkingston.
Permissions
By submitting work for the project, you grant The Community Brain and Kingston University permission to use and reproduce your images. We would like to include your child's name and age when promoting their work so please confirm if you are happy for us to do so via email or Direct Message on Instagram.
