In the last 20 months we have seen wonderful people emerge within our community. Brilliant, diverse people who have led by example, gone above and beyond and/or remained a constant in times of inconsistency - our Local Heroes. Selfless role models who have made a real impact  - whether that be one stand out moment, a number of small actions or their every-day efforts to lift the community.

This is a moment to recognise their goodness.

We want you to nominate your Local Hero, your community champion, to be celebrated in a piece of artwork displayed within Tolworth station. 

 

All you need to do is send a few sentences to hero@thecommunitybrain.org (or use the email form below) explaining why your chosen person has made a positive impact within the community. 

 

Of those nominated, 7 will be chosen to have an artwork modelled on them by students from Surbiton High and other local schools in a collaborative community project. These will be lovingly displayed in Tolworth Station for the community (and commuters) to view and learn about their wonderful contribution to the area. 

 

The closing date for nominations is 10 December 2021.
