Celebrating Tolworth's communities

Today the local community of Tolworth gathered to celebrate the Tolworth Community Festival at Tolworth Girls School.

Organised by local groups, Sarvoday Kingston, Kingston Tamil School and SHEDx, the event involved performances from local residents of all ages and included theatre, dance, music and Rangoli displays, all brought together by fantastic DJ and entertainer, Jay Kumar.

We had a fantastic day celebrating and sharing our cultures and dancing skills and hope to make this a regular event in the community calendar.

Local children also decorated pine cones which will be displayed on Tolworth Broadway from 1 December as part of the Christmas decorations.
