VOLUNTEER WITH US

We've got lots of opportunities to get involved through our events, workshops and projects. These cover all sorts of themes from cooking to rewilding, or helping with community events.

People are at the heart of all we do. From creating fun events, to uncovering the hidden heritage of places, everything we do is made possible by a wonderful team of volunteers.

We've got several opportunities to get involved in year-round activities or one-off events. Some of these are based out of physical spaces in the borough of Kingston, and others are temporary events that take place in London e.g. Waterloo Station. Find out more below about some of the things we do.

Please get in touch if you're interested in sharing your own ideas for an event or have discovered an unusual piece of local history that should be celebrated.

Opportunities

Gardening

Tolworth Station and Tolworth Broadway

We have weekly gardening session from 10:00-12:00 every Monday, and also run one-off weekend sessions throughout the Spring and Summer months.

We also organise clearing and planting on Tolworth Broadway, where we worked with the community to convert unused seating into new planters.

Heritage Projects

Across Kingston borough and London

We've run several heritage projects in the past 15+ years exploring everything from David Bowie's first performance as Ziggy Stardust, to Mr Middleton's Dig for Victory campaign. For these projects, we often need volunteers to help with research, recording oral histories, supporting live themed events.
