Waterloo 175
The Community Brain contributed to the 175th Anniversary celebrations of Waterloo Station on the 11 July 2023.
Working with Singing it Back and Greg Harridine a medley of five songs - Waterloo Sunset, Love Train, Ticket to Ride, Downtown and Waterloo was created.
A choir made up of South Western Railway and Network Rail staff, alongside local community choir members and first timers made up the chorus of people to emerge from a brand new train on Platform 19 after the official ceremony.
The choir performed again on the main station concourse where passing members of the public watched and joined in. The event made the national and local media as well as bringing smiles to many people.
